Personal project: "Musée précaire Albinet"
Brief: Create the layout for a book about an artistic project that took place in 2004:The "musée précaire Albinet" from Thomas Hirschhorn. Given multiple texts, pictures, and quotations, work on the concept of a book with the intention of making it a retrospective of the event.
I really enjoyed creating the layout for this project. The challenge here was to find a way of linking together all those different texts from different sources, some in different languages, sometimes with a similar content, and still make it look like one entity. For the cover of the book I took my inspiration from the artist Thomas Hirshhorn's way of working, to create this "taped together" look.
